Her first encounter with music happened when she was 5 years old during piano lessons. Seven years later, she tried her hand at another instrument, the trumpet. And so she discovered her love for music and, shortly after, her love for pop music. At 12, she spent all her pocket money on LP records. When she wasn't on the tennis court, she recorded tapes, always looking for the latest hit. Two months before the global success of "Sweet Dreams" by the Eurythmics, she already had the song on her Walkman, causing a frenzy among her entire school. What began as a beloved hobby gradually became her life's purpose.

In the late 80s, a fortunate coincidence revealed her new path in life. At her favorite club, "Le Jardin" in Mannheim, where she had worked as a bartender, the DJ unexpectedly fell ill one evening... For the first time, she was allowed to take control "behind the decks" and shape the evening according to her musical preferences - the outcome was a resounding success, laying the foundation for her passion.

An urban music style characterized the early years of her DJing career. Soulful, new disco beats quickly became her favorite genre.

Frequent visits to London, the hub of acid jazz culture, enabled her to amass a distinctive and reputable vinyl collection swiftly. Immersing herself in British record stores for hours became a routine, alongside exploring England's musically avant-garde club scene. Concurrently, she performed at various venues across Germany's local circuit, including Mannheim, Heidelberg, Baden Baden, Karlsruhe, Kaiserslautern, Saarbrücken, Darmstadt, and Frankfurt.

The musical evolution from England and the USA quickly spread across Europe, significantly impacting house music in German underground clubs. In the early 90s, while attending a "house party" at the renowned castle "Wartburg" in Wiesbaden, DJane Thunderpussy found her future music style - HOUSE! The life-affirming and harmonically composed melodies, combined with driving and inspiring beats and grooves, ignited her musical passion. She had found the sound to which she would dedicate her musical career. Even before the "house sound" made its definitive breakthrough in Germany, she embarked on tours of underground clubs and special "secret events" featuring it. As a result, she had the chance to musically accompany the legendary "Marlboro Carwash Tour" with the "Universe Fancy Dancers." This tour spanned all the trendy house clubs in West Germany and the partially illegal event venues in East Germany, particularly in Berlin, shortly after the fall of the Berlin Wall.

It was a nearly two-year-long, musically inspiring journey for the DJane, who is imbued with the spirit of a music pioneer. Such "secret parties" also emerged in her local area in dilapidated locations and in the zeitgeist that had swept over from England. One of these parties, for example, was the well-known party at the Walzmühle in Ludwigshafen at the time. This trend also appeared in Frankfurt and the surrounding area and in Wiesbaden and Mainz, where old factory halls were converted into unique or even permanent party locations. She was always a welcome guest at all these parties.

In 1996, she released her very first music production, "Lemon Crush featuring Sheryl Hackett - Some Things Circle Around" on Marlboro Music - a homage to one of her favorite tracks, "SOS Band - Do it Tonight," that was released on a striking yellow 10" picture disc that looked like a lemon slice. Following her national tour and debut release, she established her base at the booking agency "Housefrau" (the founder of this agency also created and produced the eponymous show "Housefrau TV" on VIVA). This partnership allowed DJane Thunderpussy to gather international experience, including appearances at events like the Winter Music Conference in Miami. Additionally, she gained frequent opportunities to DJ alongside renowned figures in the house music scene, such as Frankie Knuckles, Roger Sanchez, Joe T. Vannelli, Mousse T., Boris Dlugosch, and many more.

As this kind of sound - groovy house music - had not yet become commercially successful in Germany but instead only made its way into the gay clubs, DJane Thunderpussy's adaptability in music allowed her to thrive and find success in trance and techno genres as well. During this phase of her career, for several years, DJane Thunderpussy found her musical outlet as a resident DJ at the small club Dorian Gray at Frankfurt Airport, where she spun during the after-hours primetime. Here, from 6 am to 2 pm on Sundays, the crowd grooved to her carefully curated electronic beats and rhythms...

Consequently, in 1999, her second production, "Miss Thunderpussy—The Ride," hit the shelves. By contemporary standards, it would fall under the Tekk House genre with trance influences. This track was distributed through the in-house label of the renowned distributor Discomania.

Having developed a taste for it, shortly thereafter, in 2000, the chart hit "Club Invaders vs. Miss Thunderpussy - Mirage" was released on Superstar Recordings.

In the meantime, the DJane had already embarked on national and international tours, sharing stages with acclaimed German techno legends such as Marusha, Lexy K. Paul, Kay Tracid, Talla XL2, and others.

After the 9/11 attacks, with the dramatic changes in world politics, the club scene also changed rapidly. The large mega-clubs, which had sprung up everywhere in the preceding years, closed one after the other. The electronic music scene resulted in a return to smaller clubs – back to the roots. "DJane Thunderpussy" is still a household name nationwide and in German-speaking countries. She consistently felt comfortable in small clubs and orchestrated exceptional parties across various scenes. Whether it was fetish and men-only gatherings at Connexion Mannheim, CSD closing festivities nationwide, or events like the Street Parade in Zurich and the Love Parade in Berlin, she excelled. Each occasion was like a home game for the dedicated "Housefrau."

Numerous events and festivals are included in her schedule as part of the national CSD celebrations, which transform every summer into a vibrant party tour through Germany's major and colorful cities.

For many years, she has graced Sunshine Live Radio's airwaves, consistently airing her show on the first Sunday of each month from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. During this time, she shares the tunes that resonate deeply with her, playing the tracks that get her moving and grooving.

Over the years, there have been many more releases on various labels and under various project names - naturally in many electronic music genres, but always under the umbrella term HOUSE.

Since 2023, she has consistently released top-notch electronic tracks under the moniker DJane Thunderpussy. She effortlessly transitions between Tekk House and Progressive House with a techno edge. Already, she has secured numerous top positions in the International Beatport Charts.

Lastly, it's worth noting that she established the project LOUT alongside her friend and fellow DJ colleague Oliver Lipp in 2021 (known as DJ Olivier from Mannheim). Since 2022, they have been releasing the finest progressive house together, regularly occupying the top chart positions on Beatport.

DISCOGRAPHY: DJ MizzDee

Mirjam Kaiser, besser bekannt als DJ MizzDee, wurde 1976 in Heidelberg geboren und entdeckte bereits im Teenageralter ihre Leidenscha für Musik. Mit 16 Jahren brachte sie sich das Mixen selbst bei und entwickelte eine efe Liebe zu den unterschiedlichsten Musikgenres. Von House und Techno bis hin zu Hip-Hop experimen erte sie mit verschiedenen S len und Techniken, die sie im Laufe ihrer Karriere meisterha in ihren Sets vereinte.

Ihre größte DJ-Erfahrung sammelte sie als Resident im Club Action, wo sie 12 Jahre lang das Publikum mit ihren energiegeladenen und abwechslungsreichen Sets begeisterte. Während dieser Zeit erwarb sie sich einen hervorragenden Ruf in der lokalen Clubszene und spielte auch regelmäßig in renommierten Clubs wie dem MS Connexion in Mannheim sowie bei zahlreichen Events im Rhein Neckar-Kreis. DJ MizzDee ist bekannt dafür, in ihren Sets Genres zu vereinen und ihre Zuhörer immer wieder mit innova ven Mixes zu überraschen.

Nach einer erfolgreichen Lau ahn legte DJ MizzDee ab 2012 aus familiären Gründen eine 10-jährige Pause ein. Doch die Leidenscha zur Musik ließ sie nie los, und so kehrte sie 2022 mit frischer Energie und neuen musikalischen Ideen hinter die Decks zurück.

Seit ihrem Comeback hat sich DJ MizzDee auf Dance, Electro-Pop, House und Techno spezialisiert, wobei sie ihren Fokus auf tanzbare und melodische Klänge legt, die die Crowd fesseln und in Bewegung bringen. Ihre Sets zeichnen sich durch einen dynamischen Mix aus modernen Dance Beats, kra vollen House-Tracks aus.

Ihre Electro / Techno Sets sind bekannt für treibende, minimalistische Beats und deepen, atmosphärischen Techno, der das Publikum in einen trancear gen Zustand versetzt. Mit einer perfekten Mischung aus härteren, technoiden Sounds und verspielten Elektro-Elementen scha DJ MizzDee es, eine ganz eigene Spannung aufzubauen, die die Tanzfläche auch zu später Stunde in Bewegung hält.
